Our CSA Soccer Academy is a youth soccer program designed for players who would like to learn the game of soccer in a recreational environment.
BOYS & GIRLS
AGES 3-4 yrs
Children ages 3 to 4 are provided six 45 minute soccer lessons. During the first half of each session, children will receive instruction and review of basic soccer skills. During the second half, children will use the skills they have just learned and practiced in a fun game setting.
The first half of each session will be filled with exciting and fun drills that teach this young age group all about soccer using things like, nature, counting, colors and symbols. We'll focus on beginner soccer skills like dribbling, controlling the ball, boundaries, kicking, where things are on the soccer field, basic rules, etc. During the second half, children will use the skills they have just practiced in a fun game setting. They'll especially enjoy the last few minutes of each class where they take turns belting the ball into the goal!

BOYS & GIRLS
AGES 5-13 yrs
Children ages 5 to13 are provided six one hour soccer lessons per week, combining a mixture of individual soccer skills and game coaching (separated by age groups).
The program will teach the skills and rules of soccer, providing players with the tools necessary to play as an individual and also be comfortable to play in a team setting.
We will focus on skills such as dribbling, shooting, directional play, passing, laws, field boundaries, and sportsmanship. Players will be coached how to apply skills and rules in a game setting through friendly matches with each other. Being lightly coached while playing a game is a great way to learn! Through easily understood directions, we teach children soccer rules, skills and terminology, so they are able to successfully understand a coach's instruction and communicate with each other. Each session is structured so that it is beginner friendly but also continues to challenge every level within the group.

OUR CURRICULUM
Years of experience have helped shape our structured but fun soccer curriculum which educates and prepares our players for competition. We strive to give our players an educated personal understanding of soccer, giving them the ability to make independent choices for success on the field. Understanding soccer at an early age on a physical "and" mental level will help develop a well rounded smarter player for the duration of their soccer career.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Every age group is important, and the earlier you start the better! This unique age group is where many children can develop bad habits if they aren't coached in an environment that offers instruction in detailed easy to follow steps. Our classes are fun but also very structured. We take every age group seriously and believe children of any age should receive quality soccer coaching.
WHAT TO WEAR/BRING:
Children should wear comfortable sports clothing, shin guards, and soccer cleats to all practices. Children should bring a soccer ball to each session and plenty of water. (ages 3-7 size 3 ball) (age 8-13 size 4 ball)
One Registration Per Player - Register each player separately.
